The Residence Maldives resorts (Falhumaafushi and Dhigurah) are located in the Gaafu Alifa Atoll. This atoll – one of the largest and deepest in the world – is in the southern part of the Maldives, around 50km above the equator. To reach it from the international airport in Male, you need a domestic air transfer followed by a speedboat ride to the resort.
